William Henry Harrison served as the ninth President of the United States, and, while he had the shortest tenure in the United States Presidential history, he had many more firsts in his life. Harrison was the oldest man to ever assume the office of President in the first term until Reagan, and later Donald Trump took that title away.
He was the first President ever photographed while still in the office. He was the first ever elected to the United States House of Representatives from the Northwest Territory – and later served as the first governor of Indiana, in what was then a territory.
